![]() Nope went to that site and as usual spent half and hour and nothing on AZDEN Mikes nor even AZDEN itself. This is usually the result I get when searching for something but thanks for the useless pointer anyway. Joe |

![]() Joe... why does it have to be made by AZDEN? Beldem makes cable... all kinds of it... There's bound to be a combination of conductors, shielding and length that will work for you. In fact they may well have made the original cable for Azden... I'm pretty sure electrons don't much care who made the wires they flow through. Well Dot for one reason how many cables have you seen with a 16 pin receptacle at the end of the coil/cord!!!! Its a very unusal combo as I see it. Joe |

Lots of places on the web that have service manuals for your radio. Even the basic owners manual for the radio should have the mic pin-outs. |

Even the basic owners manual for the radio should have the mic pin-outs. Well I think all the pins are doing something. Its got a touchtone pad on the back of the mike itself, its got a scan band button, a fav chnl button, an up/down button, a ptt button of course, and a priority chnl button. Its not that I could'nt wire up a new mike plug myself with a ledo lamp I can see well enuff, its obtaining a 16 (receptacle pins) connector that is hard to find. No one locally has such a plug. Joe P.S. The bronze or whatever material that forms the pin feceptacles have lose their springiness so I keep bushing them back together with a tiny screw driver, and spraying them with DEOXIT for good contact, but the darned things again spread and stay spread no matter how I try get them to cooperate after a few times of useing the radio I start the process all over again. I suppose all the mikes and cords for that old trusty PCS3000 fixed stn rig are in a garbage dump tomewhere. |
