I've been trying to find out if this year's shenanigans in Hyde Park
might inhibit our usual picnic. So far the lack of any detail whatsoever makes it impossible to judge. However it seems likely that the area taken up by Muddy Grass, renamed Pride in the Park, will be that at the North Eastern part of Hyde Park usual for such events. Failing any better information I suggest that we assume that the big noise is unlikely to spill over physically (I make no assumptions about aurally [that's AUral. Ed]) into Kensington Gardens and that we may go ahead in our usual manner. So I propose a picnic in the park at The Queen's Temple (aka Queen Caroline's Temple or Temple Lodge depending on map) with all our usual arrangements. ie all welcome and for a consideration I will cater for those not wishing to carry soggy sarnies on the march. Anyone with any pertinent information please let me know soonest and unless any let or hindrance be shewn thereto I shall revise and publish the web pages appropriately. (Thank you - but I always mend my own.) |
