If this is just a basic IF transformer, you could just buy a radio and extract the transformer. The radios will be available locally, unlike just the IF transformer (unless you are lucky enough to be in a city that still has a store that would carry them). Buy a radio at a garage sale or a place like the Salvation Army, and it won't even cost much. Michael VE2BVW |

You looking for traditional cans used in tubes equipment or PC board mount (transistors radios) Gold Mine sell 20 can for $ 2.50 (PC mount versions) Local hamfests here I see NOS 455 kHZ and 10.7 MHz IF cans (case of them) -- in chassis mount style (tube radios).
