Default You know your passenger is a geek when ...

He notices that the digital display on your dash is a clock set to GMT.

Haha...

I have a similar story. I was at our local medical GP's office for
something and his cellphone started beeping CW. It spelled out the call
letters and said the name of the company (I've never heard cellfones do
that) and I said "Oh, it just said 'KJH123 Verizon Com'" or whatever it was.

He gave me the strangest look!

I said, 'I mean your cellfone, it just sent something in Morse code'.

He gave me the strange look again and says 'Uh, mmm-kay'.

Even worse is if the guy has a WWV implant
and notices that the clock is off by a second!

If only you could get it to interface with caller ID.

I have not tried it yet as I don't want others to know who's calling me,
but on my Ericsson P1 I can choose personal ringtones so it would be
possible to connect a CW-call to someone in my phone-book.

You mean "you know your passenger is a ham when ..."
If he were a geek, the clock would read out in BINARY (or Hexadecimal).
