Default home brew toroid winding machine

This has got to be one of the most original bits of home brew art I've
ever seen!

Has anybody out there ever tried something like this? I wish I could
figure out how to scale this down to wind smaller toroids.

BTW there is a commercial toroid winder on ebay right now, starting bid
is $99 that will wind most toroid sizes useful for ham projects.

Hey OM

Guess your link is broken.
Yeah being able to wind 4 AWG solid wire on a toroid would be nice.

The above reference leads to a very interesting 'general electronics'
home brew site .

Thanks
