Default FS: Old Radio Books

I currently have for sale the following old radio-related books. Postage is
$2.50 for the first book and $1 for each additional item (Media Mail within the
US, at cost elsewhere). The books a

Worldwide Publications "White's Radio Log, Vol. I, Number I" Worldwide
Publications, c1982. The 136 page softbound book is in good+ condition, clean
with no page tears or pen marks. Not dated, but looks to be from the early
1980's. A directory of North American AM, FM, and TV stations including
world-wide shortwave stations. Available for $3.

American Radio Relay League "The A.R.R.L. Antenna Book" American Radio Relay
League, 1960. Nineth edition. The 320+ page softbound book is in good
condition. The covers show some wear from previous use, there are a few bent
page tips, and there is a previous owners address label inside the front cover.
A good solid reading copy of this informative text on radio antenna technology.
Available for $4.

Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation "Reference Data for Radio Engineers,
2nd edition" Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation, 1946. Second edition. The
322+ page hardbound book is in about very good condition, clean with no page
tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name stamp inside the covers.
Green cloth covers. A nice early radio reference text. Available for $7.

Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation "Reference Data for Radio Engineers,
1st edition" Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation, 1943. First edition,
second printing. The 200 page hardbound book is in good+ condition, clean with
no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name inside the front
cover. The pages are a bit wavey along the bottom edge, possibly from minor
moisture exposure. Otherwise very nice. Green cloth covers over flexible
boards. A nice early radio reference text. Available for $10.

Everitt, William Littell "Communication Engineering" McGraw-Hill, 1937. The 727
page hardbound book is in about very good condition. Clean with no page tears
or pen marks except for a previous owners name and address inside the front
cover, and a few passages underlined in pencil. A nice early text on the
science of the radio. Available for $9.

Jordan, Edward C.; Paul H. Neilson; William Carl Osterbrock; Fred H. Pumphrey;
Lynne C. Smeby "Fundamentals of Radio" Prentice-Hall, 1945. Twelth printing.
The 400 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears
or pen marks. A nice early text on radio design and principles of operation,
including a few fold-out schematics. Available for $9.

Terman, Frederick Emmons "Fundamentals of Radio" McGraw-Hill, 1938. First
edition, seventh printing. The 458 page hardbound book is in about very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name and address inside the front cover which has been marked out. A nice early
radio reference text. Available for $9.

Institute of Radio Engineers "1933 Report of the Standards Committee of The
Institute of Radio Engineers" Institute of Radio Engineers, 1933. The 225 page
softbound book is in good+ condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks
except for a previous owners name on the front cover. Some wear to the spine
paper, but not too bad. Page tips in rear lower corner bent outwards somewhat.
A neat look at standards development for the radio in the early 1930's.
Available for $8.

Measurements Development Laboratory of the Sperry Gyroscope Company "Microwave
Transmission Design Data" Sperry Gyroscope Company, 1944. Publication No.
23-80. The 215 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no
page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. Originally issued during WWII as
a "confidential" document. Chapter topics include General formulae for
concentric lines; Attenuation in concentric lines; Reflections and impedance
matching; General formulae for wave guides; Attenuation in wave guides;
Reflections and impedance matching in wave guides; Wave guide tees and bends;
Wave guides filled with dielectric material; Dielectric material: Cavity
resonators; and Measurement techniques. A neat early book on ultra-high
frequency radio waves. Available for $8.

US War Department "Technical Manual - Radio Fundamentals, TM 11-455" U.S. GPO,
1941. The 140 page softbound book is in fine condition, fresh and clean inside
and out except for a previous owners name on the front cover. A nice WWII
vintage radio manual. Available for $8.

Morecroft, John H. "Elements of Radio Communication" John Wiley & Sons, 1929.
The 269 page hardbound book is in good+ condition. There is a previous owners
name inside the front and rear covers, and light pencil marks/notes on many of
the pages. Dust jacket has extensive tape reinforcement along the edges. A nice
early text on the radio. Available for $10.
