i saw the following on rec.audio.tech -- someone in this newsgroup might be
interested: Up for the best bid! What I think I have from what I can make out from a photo I saw, is a networks, and emergency communications. The unit is pre-WWII or around 1939. Excellent original condition. Transmitter used three 807 tubes in the final. Power output was 50 watts radio telephone and 75 watts radiotelegraph on four frequencies using crystal controlled. There were several variations of the design to be used for mobile operation using a dynamotor. I'm not sure who would appreciate this, but I'm going to be selling it for I don't have the room around here. Any one interested in buying it for the market value, feel free to drop me a line.
