The Louisville Kentucky Homebrewers building group is sponsoring a "Retro
Building Project" for the late Jan. of 2004 meeting. The club members thought it might be a FUN idea to sponsor a WWII spy radio building contest. We have all built regens, reflexs, supers, and TRFs sets, but not a period clandestine spy radio. Open to all, the contest is designed to promote (hands on radio) building fun. The sets must be built from parts that were available before 1944, be able to receive 49meters shortwave broadcast and be hidden in plan sight. For more details email . TNX Darrell Darby |
