Thanks for the info. I've thought of using a foot switch, but the notion
doesn't appeal to me. Apparently, all I've to do is plug in a mic to the jack in the back and hit the switch on the front panel to activate the VOX. I hope this is so. All along I thought I needed additional circuits for the VOX. Thanks and 73, KB2AMY Evan |

There is also some kind of VOX switch (I guess) on the front panel along with the jack in the back. Therefore, I guess, all I've to do is plug in the mic to the jack in the back and I'll be good to go? The manual just mentions these features, but it doesn't go into any details. Thanks and 73, Evan KB2AMY No just leave the mic plugged into the mic jack on the front and push the VOX button in. Then adjust the 1) VOX GAIN, 2) DELAY, and 3) ANTI-VOX so that the radio 1) begins to transmit when you speak, 2) stops transmitting shortly after you stop speaking, and 3) doesn't trip on background noise Dee D.
