Are there any russian tubes that are still in production?
A lot of new designs were constructed with GS35b and co. The 8877 we produced yet for Ameritron? I know that RF Parts manufactured some tubes, the 8877 too? The GS35b is a good tube but is apparently no longer in production, Just like most other Russian tubes. Svetlana is apparently her no more tubes for radio technology. The GS35b and similar tubes are also useful above 30 MHz. The 3-500 apparently not but if you want transmit only on shortwave why not the 3-500? The 572b could be usefull, the 811 is a little bit too weak. If you were planning a linear, which tube would you take? |
