Hi,
I have an ICOM 707 transceiver which uses 455 kHz filters (FL-52A and FL-53A). I would like to add a CW filter, but ICOM's filters are pretty expensive. I wonder if I could use a 455 kHz filter for a different radio instead. Some mechanical adapation will be necessary, but will they be electrically compatible? I've found the following link: http://www.qrpproject.de/UK/inradfilt.htm. Here, an alternative filter is suggested for both YAESU FT817 and ICOM IC703. The ICOM uses the same filters as mine, so this would suggest that filters for the YAESU might work in ICOM. Regards Jon KÃ¥re - LA4RT |
