hello all,

has any built, or considered building, just the transmitter section of
the hw-8? i have a nice drake 2b and 2bq that i would like to build a
low power cw transmitter to go with it. would like 80, 40 20 and 15 and
possibly 10 included. i am gonna look through some handbooks but wanted
to check here and not re-invent the wheel.

any help appreciated.

Considering that I have seen Drake 2-NT .. which is the matching CW
transmitter for this receiver .. sell for $ 40 to $ 50 (good condition) at
recent hamfest and eBay .. why? The Drake 2NT and 2B combo was the premier
Novice station in late 1960s and early 1970s
