Me Doesn't take many "monitoring" sites, when the fingers are pointed towards a culprit, then they can move in for the kill - collecting evidence. If they get enough bitching of a problem, they'll come knocking. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to pinpoint a signal. Many Hams and/or 2 way radio shops have the proper equipment to do the job. I've tracked a few signals down in my time thus far and also filled out papers to the FCC for stations "accused" of interference by a neighbor. And, there are often "weekly" lists of "Radio Stations" busted for violations. They can't be sitting on their ass and doing this stuff! As I said, don't count them as down and out. cl |
