I think I've found an 6 digit 50 pin LCD that will work electrically with
the MM5453N but its a liitle too big physically.

They are $7.26 from Mouser or DigiKey. If the pinout is correct the
problem will be the double row spacing. The chip is 40mm between rows of
pins while the double row spacing on my Lowe receiver has 33mm and I don't
think the LCD pins are long enough to bend and get a fit. The glass is much
bigger but I think it would fit. Does anyone know of any adapters, or a
way to get this LCD to fit my radio?
