Hello,
I need a Murata CFJ455 K12 or CFJ455 K5 ceramic filter. These are 455khz filters you would pull out of a transeiver to upgrade filters such as with Inrad filters etc. Thanks, Rick KC0HH |

So a Collins mechanical or Inrad upgrade like shown at W4RT would qualify http://www.w4rt.com/obf/OBF_IC-703_Manual.pdf w9gb |

I received it sans any filters. These are the stock 455 filters. I need to get a filter in there to see if it still works. I really did not want to sink a bunch of cash in a Collins or Inrad filter and then find out the radio is not worth fixing. Rick KC0HH "KC0HH" wrote in message .. . If you can cobble a way to patch in the Murata CSBLA455KEC8-B0, just to see if the rest of the radio works, Digikey sells them for less than a dollar. The specs are on page 41 of this catalog: http://www.murata.com/catalog/p17e14.pdf |

For receive only I could just solder a 20pf capacitor across where the filter goes to test things. The only difference is that you will have a DSB signal rather than an SSB signal. If you can hear things, and you can transmit a signal, surely the rig is in good enough state to warrant tracking down a suitable filter. TS-830 repair should be straight forward I think most of the Murata filters are either 1.5K or 2K input and output In the second RX of the Yaesu FT-1000(D) and the FT-1000MP you will find a Murata 455 kHz ceramic filter. This will be the Murata CFJ455K '15', '13' or '5' filter. http://www.remeeus.nl/english/hamrad...xfiltering.htm gb |

Whoever had it here in the states had the primary jumpered wrong and it wouldn't have worked on any power mains - 110 or 220v. I received it without any tubes, all the filters have been removed and some wire harnesses cut up. I don't know what else has been messed with. Spliced the wires. replaced the tubes and HV is ~850v and I can set the idle at 60ma but I want to get some filters in there to able to test it. Any of the CFJ455K filters would be nice to find.
