The ARRL will send you a reprint of Doug Demaw's article for $5. I
have a copy of W1FBs Design Notebook and it looks like it has the schematic and the description you are looking for. Sorry but I don't have a scanner. You can often find this book at libraries. The design uses 40673 dual gate FETS which are an obsolete part. You can find them at surplus houses at about $10 each. Any particular reason for wanting to build this particular receiver? Roger |

I understand the attraction of this circuit. Very simple, very clean.
Easy to understand. I built it and it was a great experience. I have info on my web site. http://www.qsl.net/n2cqr I could probably dig up the schematic and scan it if the original poster still needs it -- please let me know.
