You have several possibilities to send in the NEwS to the group to place it manual (via the Contact-Sheet: http://www.mmmonvhf.de/kontact.php or via the Post-News-Sheet: http://www.mmmonvhf.de/newsuser.php ) An easier way will be to post direct to the News as a "COMMENT" Each News will have at the lower bottom of the text a line were you be able to find a link to place a comment. It will be counted. The Comments will be always spread with the related NEws without handling time of the MMMonVHF-Team! *** Layout change of the MMMonVHF start page (http://www.MMMonVHF.de As you might already have noticed, we slightly changed the layout of the MMMonVHF start page. You may now use the to open/close the topics. Furthermore if you accept cookie handling, your selected topics are stored and remembered during your next visit! *** UPDATES ON4KST's chat telnet client (V 1.5) This is a simple telnet client specially developed for accessing the chats of ON4KST when you can't (or don't want) to use the WEB interface. I made this software for my own use because in my radio QTH by the countryside I only can access the Internet using the GPRS mobile phone. The cost of this service (at least in Spain) depends on the number of bytes sent/received, so using the WEB interface was simply too expensive. On the other hand, standard telnet clients did not offer the functionalities and formatting options I wanted. LATEST NEWS dated 2008-06-21: Since my previous e-mail to this reflector I have been told that VE7BQH is no longer active, and I have not heard from Lionel about coordinating skeds. Here is latest information: CY0X transmit frequency: 144.078 MHz CY0X sked receive frequency: 144.076 MHz CY0X random receive frequency: 144.080 MHz IF THERE ARE BIRDIES WE WILL USE CLOSEST CLEAR FREQUENCY FOR TRANS- MIT; SKED RECEIVE WILL BE 2KHZ down; RANDOM RECEIVE WILL BE 2-3 KHZ up. In next 24 hour DARC contest ( 05. Juli-06. July) DG7TG, Thorsten and me (DG3XA) will be qrv from JO34WE. Our RIG will be 2x 13el and good Output-Power. The QTH will be 65 m over sea level and QSOs in a range of 800 km will be no problem. Only problem might be our outdoor camp! So we might have to cancle the trip if the WX is too bad... N6R commemorates the lives of President Ronald & Mrs. Nancy Reagan. The Ventura Co. Amateur Radio Society (VCARS) will be joined by Simi Settlers ARC (SSARC) & Ventura Co. ARB (VCARC) for the 24 hour event. Operations are planned on most bands between 80M - 24GHz. No specified frequencies have been advertised & most operators will use 'hunt & pounce'.
