AGB-PARTY Contest



DATE: Therd Friday of Decemberr (21 Dec 2012) 2100 - 2400 UT



The object of the Contest: Licenced amateurs radio worldwide and SWL;



CONTEST CALL: CW - TEST AGB; SSB - CQ AGB CONTEST;



MODE: CW, SSB and Digital modes;



FREQUENCIES: CW (3510 - 3555); SSB (3700 - 3750) - recomende; Pilot
frequency (for Pile-Ups before Contest): CW-3540, SSB-3720



REPEAT: Each 15 minutes (12 periods) you can make CW-QSO and SSB-QSO with
every station.

Also you can make QSO Digital-Digital other modes.

There are periods :

2100 - 2114, 2115 - 2129, 2130 - 2144, 2145 - 2159,

2200 - 2214, 2215 - 2229, 2230 - 2244, 2245 - 2259,

2300 - 2314, 2315 - 2329, 2330 - 2344, 2345 - 2400,



ENTRY:

A – Single Operator MIXED (CW + SSB) – AGB-member

B – Single Operator CW – AGB-member

C – Single Operator SSB – AGB-member

D – Single Operator MIXED (CW + SSB)

E – Single Operator CW

F – Single Operator SSB

G – Single Operator MIXED (CW + SSB) QRP (Max 10W)

H – Multi Operator

I - SWL

J - Digital (RTTY, PSK, AMTOR, PACKTOR...)

K - ONE HOUR ( Special for Contesters, who havn't Time - Health, some
problems in Family, for take part in Contes ...)



This year there will be a special category, for calculation of the best
result among participants from KDR club. - Woulf you like (KDR-members) to
write your KDR-number in LOG.



EXCHANGE: No AGB member stations - RST + number of QSO ( 599-001 );



AGB member station - RST + number QSO + AGB-number ( 599-001/60 or
599-001-A60 );

Annual AM Night on 1936 KHz.

The Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Association's weekly net on1936KHz at
9PM every Thursday will be hosting its annual AM Night on ThursdayDecember
27th.



AM stations running every vintage of AM equipment from retiredbroadcast
rigs, classic boat anchor rigs and the latest software defined radiosare
invited to join the activity on 1936KHz. On the Thursday
followingChristmas. Net Control station NM4A at Union, Ky. will host
theactivity which formally begins at 9PM ET.

Pre net activities will begin as early as 6 PM ET. All stationschecking in
early will be logged in via Net Logger. You can monitor theactivity by
going to www.netlogger.organddown loading the program and then looking for
the GCARA AM Night log.



Certificates will be issued to all stations checking inas well as to
stations in various classes of equipment.



This activity has usually attracts 70 + AM stations from allover the US
operating a wide variety of heavy metal rigs as well as the latestin AM
technology. All station operators are invited to join in on this
annualgathering. Each operator will be asked to describe his or her station.
