iHeartMedia has launched Christian AC Up 107.3 K297AK Loveland CO/97.9
KXBG-HD2 Cheyenne WY. This is the second annual format change on December
26 for the translator, which debuted its now former AC Sunny identity one
year ago today. The station had stunted both years with Christmas music as
Santa 107.3. iHeart is launching Up 107.3 with a 30 Day Christian Music
Switch challenge to draw listeners of secular stations as opposed to going
after the established K-Love, Air 1 and Way-FM networks that already are
entrenched in the Northern Colorado marketplace.

Wheel Of Formats Kills Off Jack-FM San Diego

SDLocals 100.7 Jack-FM KFMB-FM San Diego has dropped its branding after
over a decade and is running a daily stunt format through January 4. The
first daily stunt is all AC/DC and will continue with a Wheel Of Formats
changing at 10am daily through the debut of the new format on Monday,
January 4. Expectations of a format change were raised with the hiring of
former 91X Program Director Garrett Michaels earlier this month. KFMB-FM
flipped from Hot AC Star 100.7 to Variety Hits 100.7 Jack-FM in April 2005.

W255CJ/99.7 WWWQ-HD Atlanta has flipped to AC. The Warm playlist is
featuring a broader mix than Cox Medias incumbent B98.5 WSB-FM, while
emphasizing softer artists such as Bee Gees, Cher, Michael Bolton and Norah
