Limerick Radio Club

The Limerick Radio Club 2 metre repeater is restored to service. Five
club members; John EI6IW, Liam EI4GB. Liam EI7DSB, John EI5HDB and
Simon EI7ALB braved the elements on New Year's eve to repair the broken
2m mast, replace the 2m antenna and re-cable same. Thanks to club
members Mike EI2IX, Harry EI2KL, Alan EI8EM, Ronan EI5HRB and John
EI1694 who provided test reports. The IRTS news will revert to the 2m
repeater on Monday evenings at the usual time of 20:00. Further reports
on the coverage will be greatly appreciated. Happy New Year to all and
many QSOs in 2016 from LRC.

SDR Net

The SDR net on 40m is held for over an hour before the Sunday news.
Stations are welcome to call in before 10.30 - 10.40 as this allows
stations ample time to get involved in the Net. From around 10.45
onwards we start to wind down the net to make way for the IRTS News
bulletin and it is not always possible to fully involve those that
call-in just before the frequency is handed over. All stations are
encouraged to get involved.
