Tim Pohlman Named New CBS Chicago Market Manager

Following the departure of Rod Zimmerman, CBS Radio is transferring Tim
Pohlman to Chicago as its new Senior Vice President and Market Manager.
Pohlman transfers from Phoenix where he has ran CBS three stations there
since December 2009. He previously has been Managing Partner and CEO of
Riviera Broadcast Group and Market Manager for CBS Radio Los Angeles among
other radio management positions. No replacement for Pohlman in Phoenix has
been named yet. Tim Pohlman has been named Senior Vice President and Market
Manager of CBS RADIO’s operations in Chicago, it was announced today by

Ramiro Joins Hot 96.9 Boston

Ramiro Torres is joining Greater Media Rhythmic AC Hot 96.9 WBQT Boston.
Torres was taken off the air at iHeartMedias Jamn 94.5 WJMN in July prior

Emmis Lays Off 32; Execs Take Pay Cuts

Following the departure of New York Market Manager Deon Levingston, Emmis
Communications has made broad cuts at its radio operations across the
country. Thirty two employees were let go yesterday. One is Mike Corbin,
news anchor and reporter for 93.1 WIBC Indianapolis. Confirmed cuts were
also made in Austin and St. Louis although none have publicly been
identified. Senior Executives for the company are taking reductions to
their pay as well. On its third quarter earnings call this morning, Emmis
stated that revenues were down 5.1% with most of the loss coming from Urban
Power 106 KPWR Los Angeles due

KTFM San Antonio Is Now 94.1 The Taco

Floresville TX is stunting with a loop of Parry Gripps Its Raining Tacos
while promoting an announcement at 5:00 this afternoon. KTFM had been in
the middle of a wide CHR battle with iHearts combo of Mix 96.1 KXXM and Hot
104.5 and Univisions 98.5 The Beat KBBT with a 2.5 share in the December
2015 Nielsen Audio PPM ratings. Based on prior domain registrations, it
looks as though the station will relaunch with a new burst of Energy.

Kim Berk Joins WLS-FM Morning Show

Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago has brought in Kim Berk to join
Brant Miller in mornings. Berk comes to Chicago from New York where she had
been at CBS Hot AC Fresh 102.7 WWFS until last summer. She had been paired
with Jim Douglas at AC 98.3 K-JOY WKJY Hempstead NY from 2001 to 2009 and
then at WWFS until last year. Berk debuts at WLS-FM on Thursday, January 7.
