Cumulus Makes Massive Cuts At Radio 103.9 New York

Cumulus has let go of most of the local staff at Urban AC Radio 103.9 WNBM
Bronxville/New York. Exiting the station are middayer La Loca, mixer Mister
Cee, part-timers Roxie and Terry Bello, Creative Services Director Ghost,
and specialty shows Irie Jam and Midnight Masters of The Mix. Budget cuts
were given as the reason for the cuts. Night host Marc Clarke and the
syndicated Tom Joyner morning show and DL Hughley afternoon show remain in
place for now. WNBM registered a 0.7 share in the January 2016 Nielsen
Audio PPM ratings. Radio 103.9 debuted its current format in July 2014.

La Jefa On The Move In Dallas

Univision is preparing its semi-regular swap of formats with its Dallas
rimshot FMs. Regional Mexican La Jefa will move from 107.9 Lewisville to
99.1 Denton on Thursday, February 18 at 3:00pm. The KFZO call letters have
already moved to 99.1 with KDXX going to opposite direction to 107.9. 99.1
is currently Spanish CHR Latino Mix in simulcast with 107.1 KESS
Benbrook/Fort Worth. No announcement has been made yet on whether that
format will remain on the 107.1/107.9 signals or if a new format will
appear there.

Philadelphia Phillies Go FM Only On WIP

After carrying their games for all but three years since 1982, CBS Talk
1210 WPHT Philadelphia will no longer serve as the flagship station for
Philadelphia Phillies baseball. The games will remain with CBS airing
exclusively on Sports 94.1 WIP starting with the upcoming 2016 season. WIP
has been co-flagship with WPHT since 2012. Terms and length of the deal
were not announced. CBS had previously signed a one year extension to keep
the Phillies on WIP/WPHT for the past 2015 season in September 2014.
