Tingle has just earned his Amateur Radio license, passing his exam on June 3, 2016. The FCC issued the call sign, KG5NZA, to him on June 8. In January, as he began some NASA training in Russia he requested the license study material. He had heard about ARISS during his astronaut training, and in January, decided to study on his own.... Over the last few years the PI2NOS repeater crew designed and build a nationwide repeatersystem in The Netherlands. The system is a so called Co-Channeling system with 5 transmitters (with antennas between 107 m./350 ft. and 349 m./1145 ft. high) and 17 receivers (in diversity, with antennas between 40 m./131 ft. and 220 m./721 ft. high) spread all over the country.
