iHeartMedia will flip Spanish Adult Hits La Preciosa 1450 KTZR Tucson AZ to
Talk on Monday, September 26.

The new Talk Of Tucson will duplicate some of the programming of sister 790
KNST in different timeslots. Glenn Beck will add a live clearance on KTZR
from 6-9am while continuing on KNST from 4-7pm. Other shows that will air
on KTZR include Trending Today with Rusty Humphries from 9am-12pm, Michael
Savage from 12-3pm, Michael Berry 3-5pm, Rob Hunter 5-6pm, America Now with
Meghan McCain 6-9pm and 12am-3am, Ground Zero 9pm-12am, and Alex Jones
3-6am.

KTZR will also serve as the flagship for the new Tucson Roadrunners of the
American Hockey League.

Since Way Media acquired 89.7 KAWA Sanger TX (formerly KVRK) last year, the
company has been attempting to upgrade its signal in the Dallas market. In
March they gained a CP to increase from a Class C1 with 14kW/518m to a C0
with 45kW/518m. Now they are applying to move all the way to a Class C.

Cumulus Shuts Down WTOD Toledo; Format To Replace Zone Translator

Cumulus Media is shutting off TalkRadio 1470 WTOD Toledo OH tonight and
potentially turning in the stations license.

The WTOD programming will remain in place however as the all-syndicated
Talk lineup will replace Alternative 100.7 The Zone on 100.7 W264AK
Toledo/105.5 WQQO-HD2 starting Wednesday, September 28 at 12pm. The
stations lineup includes Imus In The Morning, Chris Plante, Jonathan
Brandmeier, Dave Ramsey, Mark Levin, and Michael Savage.

WTOD has been operating via Special Temporary Authority since August 2003,
however its most recent extension is set to expire on Sunday, September 25.
Its ground system has required repair or replacement and the station has
had multiple CPs to build a new four tower array on the west side of
Toledo. Market Manager Andy Stuart told the Toledo Blade, The cost to fix
it and what the expected return is not a good investment. We decided the
best thing is to turn [the license] back and maybe someone else will want
to operate it.�

The WTOD call letters will be shifted to sister Sports 106.5 The Ticket
WLQR-FM Delta/Toledo. 1470 was one of the building blocks of Cumulus as a
company. The station, first known as WOHO, was acquired by Lew Dickey Sr.s
Midwestern Broadcasting Company in 1965. When his son Lew Dickey Jr.
started Cumulus in 1997, 1470 (then sporting the WLQR call letters) and
sister 105.5 WWWM were purchased from his fathers company. Despite no
longer running Cumulus, Lew and brother John Dickey own the land where
WTODs faulty towers are located.
