East Valley Institute of Technology has broken up the simulcast of 88.7
KPNG Chandler and 90.7 KVIT Apache Junction AZ as KVIT flips to Classic
Country 90.7 The Goldmine.

The high school owned station is featuring Country hits of the past fifty
years with a focus on music from 1978-1998. KVIT serves the eastern side of
the Phoenix market including Chandler, Gilbert and Mesa.

Sister 88.7 KPNG Chandler continues with the Pulse Hot AC format.

Forever South Adds Five In NW Tennessee

Forever South Communications is acquiring WENK of Union Citys five stations
in Northwest Tennessee for $500,000.

The stations feature two formats spread over the five frequencies. 710 WTPR
Paris, 1240 WENK Union City, and 101.7 WTPR-FM feature a Classic Hits
format positioned as The Greatest Hits of All Time. CHR KF99/KQ105 99.3
WWKF Fulton KY/105.5 WAKQ Paris carries the syndicated Ace TJ morning show.

Forever South is run by president/COO Christine Hillard and operates
stations in Bowling Green and Murray KY and Jackson TN. It and Pennsylvania
based Forever Communications share similar ownership particulars but are
separately operated. Bob Mahlman served as broker of the deal.
