Jeff Kapugi Exits CBS Radio

Jeff Kapugi has exited his position as CBS Radio Vice President of Country
Programming and Program Director of US 99 WUSN Chicago after five years.

WUSN has been in a heated battle with iHeartMedias Big 95.5 WEBG in recent
years. Both stations are on a ratings downswing with WUSN leading WEBG by a
2.2 to 2.0 share in the November ratings. As recent as September WUSN led
2.8 to 2.7.

The Chicago native joined WUSN in 2011 following a year overseeing CBS Hot
AC Y98 KYKY and AC 102.5 KEZK St. Louis. Prior to joining CBS he was Senior
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Tribune Interactive in
Chicago from 2008-2010. Most of his radio career was spent at Jacor/Clear
Channel where he served as OM/PD of stations in Tampa including CHR 93.3
WFLZ, St. Louis, and finally Regional VP/Programming for Washington
DC/Baltimore.

Pete Brings Alternative To Stillwater

Stillwater Broadcasting has flipped Sports 780 KSPI Stillwater OK to
Alternative Pete 94.3 with the addition of 94.3 K233BQ Stillwater to bring
the stations programming to FM.

Named for Oklahoma State University mascot Pistol Pete, the station
describes itself as a unique and familiar mix of the 90s and beyond,
targeting adults 25-44. Core artists consist of Dave Matthews, Alanis
Morissette, Nirvana, Matchbox 20, REM, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Alice in
Chains, and Soundgarden.

Despite the flip away from Sports, where the CBS Sports Radio network has
been jettisoned, the station is retaining the local The Game with Rex Holt
Bill Van Ness from 9-11am weekdays and its block of religious programming
on Sunday mornings.

EMF Acquires Suburban Chicago College Station

Wheaton College has sold 88.1 WETN Wheaton IL to Educational Media
Foundation for $150,000.

The 250w/43m station currently airs a locally produced Christian AC (and
seasonal Christmas music) format along with school services and sports. EMF
has filed a main studio waiver request to carry the Christian CHR Air 1
network via KYRA Thousand Oaks CA.

Wheaton will also lease space on the tower it owns for WETN to continue
broadcasting from it for five years (with four additional five year
renewals) at $500 per month and $200 per month for utilities with a 2%
annual escalator.

WETN would become Air 1s third station in the Chicago suburbs joining 88.3
WCLR Arlington Heights and 88.7 WSRI Sugar Grove/Aurora.

Townsquare Media flipped Sports ESPN Evansville 105.3 WJLT Evansville IN to
Christmas Music as My 105.3 WJLT today.

Following the holidays, WJLT will move to AC positioned as 80’s, 90’s and
Now. The new format will compete against Midwest Communications market
dominating 104.1 WIKY. In the Spring 2016 Nielsen Audio ratings, WIKY held
a 20.5 share of the Evansville market, while WJLTs Sports was at a 2.2
share.

WJLT had flipped to Sports from Classic Hits Superhits 105.3 in July 2014.
