I now have my rig back working and have time to play with it. Unfortunately
missed last weekend’s contest, such is life. The week was exceedingly poor
but the weekend produce a prodigious amount of contacts and DX, YV1KK
(Venezuela), ZW5B (Brazil), FY5KE (French Guiana), 4M1K (Venezuela) to name
but four. But there were lots more even on Friday

Teledyne to buy UK's e2v

Industrial conglomerate Teledyne Technologies Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.)
has agreed to buy specialty image sensor and semiconductor manufacturer e2v
technologies plc (Chelmsford, England) for about £620 million (about $785
million) in cash
