The story about the second largest meteorite to be found in the U.S. is
shrouded in a fog of controversy. The official name of this 6,070 pound
space rock is "Old Woman Meteorite", but once upon a time it was called
something quite different...Lucky Nugget!



This is literally a meteorite that was found and lost by its discoverers
just like the elusive lost arches gold mine these prospectors were in
search of. The 1976 discovery is not well documented,...

7610. If you are considering either radio, please see the conclusion. If
you own the Icom 7300 and are thinking of purchasing the Icom 7610, this
may help.

The 7610 is a much larger transceiver, so there’s more real estate for
physical buttons and knobs. Of course Icom isn’t going to please everyone
with their choice of what to put on the front or where it is located....

Hi Everybody;







An amateur astronomer from British Columbia, Scott Tilley, from Roberts
Creek

finds lost IMAGE space craft... it was not heard from in over 12 years!



On the 26 of January NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt,
Maryland has confirmed that the radio signature is the one for IMAGE.



Right now NASA and some top Universities in are scrambling to communicate
with the craft and download data that can confirm...

After spending what seems like months of watching nearly every YouTube
video on Ham Radio Go Boxes I finally decided to make one for myself. Thing
is I didnt want to spend a ton of money doing it.



There are plenty of boxes to choose from to put your equipment in. Theres
Plano, Gator, Pelican and Nanuk just to name a few. However, I wasnt
wanting to pay $100.00 or more for a case and I wanted it to easily fit in
my car as well as be able to deploy the radio quickly. Luckily I found
