Before I get to the subject of this email, let me mention that I visited
eight Field Day sites over the weekend. I will get some pictures posted for my next monthly report. My travels took me from Kearney to Omaha. Ham radio is doing well in Nebraska. Thanks for the fine work and team spirit at each site. Roger Hammond, KC0MWM sent me an interesting email about the Central Nebraska Near Space Program field day balloon launch from Grand Island last Saturday (June 25). Roger has a website where he posted many ground and aerial photographs from the "CNNSP-10" flight. The balloon reached an altitude of 89,164 feet. The URL for the website is: http://www.cnnsp.org . Click on the CNNSP-10 link. Congratulations, Roger, to you and your group for a truly interesting event! 73, Art K0AIZ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ARRL Nebraska Section Section Manager: Arthur I Zygielbaum, K0AIZ -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
