Default Is it useful to add an RF choke to an OCF multiband dipole?

Hello. I'll be putting a new antenna up shortly, an OCF multiband (two
driven elements) dipole. It has a 4:1 current balun at the feed point. Is
there any benefit in adding a simple RF choke just before the balun? I was
going to make 8 or so 8 inch loops as a choke but I suddenly wondered if
that'll work across all bands and my mind went blank.
Ta!
