The ARRL Board of Directors will elect her successor when it meets January 15-16. The nagging concern that were losing decades of experience in a key role is bothersome. But this is the way our system works so we look forward to what comes next. I cant read anything about President Craigie without recalling a Facebook posting she made after having received a seven page, single spaced letter in laborious detail complaining about the many sins of the ARRL. One can only imagine just how many millions of words of derision our leaders have endured thru the decades. It makes me wish we would redirect all the energy expended getting new people in the hobby for a time, and work at getting the few thousand truly miserable curmudgeons the hell out of the hobby. The tenacity of those who truly despise amateur radio to hang in there to the bitter end never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for your many efforts on our behalf President Craigie, enjoy your retirement!
