I don't remember, cutting wood for winter, foraging the woods for berries, turning the crank on a model T, building a spear to kill a deer, washing my clothes in the river, making candles to light the night. And I do appreciate that I don't have to do these things anymore. Mike I have helped cut wood for winter heating. I have also foraged for berries, actually Granny knew where to look and took me along to help pick berries. I have never hand cranked a model T, but have watched others do it (was tied up with winter wood cutting, the "T" drove a belt with a rear axle wheel to drive a large circular saw) I never did any of the other things listed, but if Granny were still here, I'd bet she has and could describe the process. Except the spear hunting, that was before Grannys time and on the other side of the family. Harold KD5SAK Hi Harold, My point is, times change, peoples change, and if you want to cut wood, pick berries, crank a model T, or spear hunt, Have at it, but your not out telling everybody they need to. Mike Right, and why homebrew anymore when you can call HRO or AES and buy your appliance off the shelf. 73, Back to my CW and projects. SC |

![]() Gay Bashing? Gay Bashing? I didn't see any gay bashing, Mark. I DID see a question mark behind "homobrew". How is that gay bashing? Are you overly sensitive about your admitted bisexual proclivities? Please cease putting words in the mouths of others, Mark. I will not allow that to pass. Oh, and does it irk you if I enjoy "topsotting"? Is that gay bashing, too? The British use the term sot to describe a drunkard. As an offensive term for one who drinks habitually, (drunkard). If I "topsot", am I picking on Brits? Those who imbibe? And just WHO is the controlling authority on whether I top post or not? YOU? derisive laughter You don't count, Mark. Now, tell us just what is "homobrew"? wrote in message ... Thank you for reminding me that The Colonel injests his beer in, how to put this nicely, "unorthodox" ways? He has his very own, highly personal back door version of a micro brewery, so to speak. Homobrew. Now I understand. |
