Default NCI Petition available on FCC ECFS

No Code International's Petition for Rulemaking to the FCC
was assigned RM-10786 and is now viewable for review and
comments on the FCC's ECFS site at:
http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/ecfs/comsrch_v2.cgi

(type RM-10786 in the "Proceeding" box at the upper left of
this web page to view the Petition and comments filed to date).
Apparently the "RM number" was assigned last week, along with
others on the same topic, but the Petition itself was not visible
due to some sort of file-linking error. That was corrected late
on September 2nd or early on September 3rd, and comments are
now being accepted by the ECFS.

Also, if you would mention that news on this issue can be
obtained via the "Articles" link on the main NCI web page
at http://www.nocode.org, that would be most appreciated.

Judging from the effectiveness of your rebuttals and the logic of your
arguments, code is doomed if you are a poster child for the movement.

Usually, it's the dorky looking guys who *do* love CW. Take a look at
the picture on http://myrockport.com/world.htm and notice the hands of
the person who is holding the home-brew keyer. Looks like he never
washed his hands or trimmed his fingernails in his life. Now *there*
is a typical CW dork.

Since you've never used for hands for anything except yourself, you would
have no idea how dirty one's hands can get working with old bike parts.

Struck a chord, eh? Those must have been your dirty-fingernailed
hands.

Might you mean "Struck a nerve"?

Nope. Meant what I said. When you learn a bit more about idiomatic
constructs, THEN you can undertake to correct someone. In the
meantime, look up the phrase "struck a chord" on Google. You just may
be enlightened.

So you wanted to elicit an emotional response in Radioman? One done in
a positive vein, as is typical of "striking a chord" with someone,
instead of an irritating emotional response as in "striking a nerve", is
it? Oddly enough, most of your posts don't seem calculated to elicit a
positive response.

Pity a smart fella like you has to argue with a dullard such as myself.
Better get back to the Mensa folk, who *might* be qualified to talk wit'
ya if they acts nice 'n don't get too uppity.

Carl you should have instructed your minions to come up with their own
words, almost all the "pro" replies are the same cut-paste responces.
But after reading through some of the replies where people actually wrote
their own ideas, I can see why you just had the fille in the blanks.

By the way, I did not know that so many (as one person put it) Blectronic
engineers were so oppressed, poor little fellas. :-(

Thanks for the link to RM-10786 Carl.

It is VERY LONG past time we put the
albatross of CW behind us, once and for
all.

Tsk, tsk. You poor Albatross Anchors. You indeed have my sympathy.
I wouldn't want to be the anchor for any nasty old sea bird, either!

Anchor Steam has quite a following in the beer world. Anchors and
chains have quite a following in the amateur world. You otta be used
to it by now.
