This is the only way to kill BPL, waisting time with the ARRL or The FCC is a
lost cause. "Folks, your base of support out here in the hinterlands, upon which you MUST rely for any future electoral success, is getting fed up with Republican pandering to the big money interests to the virtual exclusion of all else. Here's a very good example:::" (quote the NPRM on BPL) "The people who are behind this proposal know full well the extent of the extreme PROVEN damage it will do to the vital High Frequency and Low VHF radio spectrum, yet they insist on forcing it onto all other users with no regard to its destructive effects. Those effects even go to *very* seriously impacting Public Safety communications here in our own state. If this abomination is approved, and we all know that it is FCC appointees of the current administration who will see it through, you can be sure that in the fall of 2004, the door will be opened to the exit of large numbers of current supporters of this and a number of other atrocities caused by extreme Republican politics. |
