A BPL field test was cut short because of HF radio interference
recently The town of Linz in Austria. The Government Ministry for Commerce, Innovation and Technology Closed down the tests after a Red Cross emergency service disaster response drill that was the victim of massive BPL interference. The feild test has been plagued by problems before this, and the utility had been looking into some ways to reduce interference to Amateurs and others One more nail in BPL's coffin, and considering what happened and who it happened to, it's a darn big one. - Mike KB3EIA - |
