I can't figure out why the ARRL didn't just go for 1 class and give
them all of the bands. Throw out the rule book. Tell the FCC to look the other way. Then everyone will be happy. No rules, no problem. That is what the US amateurs want give it to them. No more skill than a 4 year old sitting on the pot picking his nose. To the ARRl it's still about money. Less skill involved means more hams means more membership means more money. Next they will want PHD's for anyone passing basic algebra and 1st year gym. Ham radio------a thing of the past! |
