Default BXN

I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of Dick Caroll, W0EX. He
was a great guy and a fine radio amateur. I'm glad to have known him,
online, by email and most of all on the air. He and N0BK are sorely
missed. WA2SI and I were wondering about him during a CW QSO on 40 the
other night, and the next day the bad news was in the newsgroup.

So in memorial of W0EX and N0BK, we're going to try for a regular
sked. Tuesdays, 9 PM EDST (0100Z), 7037 kHz plus-minus QRM. Just a
friendly discussion net. All are invited. We'll call "BXN" instead of
"CQ". "BXN" derives from the B in N0BK and the X in W0EX, and of
course N for net.

Join us.

I'll certainly be there.

Just for clarification, (Please correct me if I'm mistaken, Jim.) 0100z,
Tuesday is the same as 9 PM EDST, Monday. So we're talking about a Monday
eve. net here. Nuthin' more enjoyable than actually gettin' OTA.

Sorry to hear about Dick.

I've been "off-net" for some time due to travel.

Regards,
