Maybe he objected to the eyeshade and sleeve garters the PCTA
wear a la 1930s?

Maybe he took the beeper's battle flag motto literally? ("Learn code or

You might have spelled a word wrong. Ought it not be "ele-"
instead of "sycho-"? Hi hi. [I heard a herd...]

Val seems nowhere to be found. He also posted in some Amateur Astronomy
groups, but early 2003 seems to be the latest.

Why don't you follow up from here?

written), their license database entry still says "Technician" because Fcc does
not issue Technician Plus licenses any more.

Existing Technician Plus licenses are being renewed as Technician. In about 5
years and 7 months there should be no more Technician Pluses at all due to this
fact.

So it is impossible to tell whether someone with a Technician license has
passed the code test simply by checking the database.
