Brian Burke listed a couple of names of those posters here who are members of the A-1 Op Club. Burke then went out of his way to list PCTA posters who are not A-1 Op members. As I recall, he wrote something like, "Dave Heil K8MN is NOT a member". Of course that made Brian look pretty silly, for not having his ducks in a row and for making it obvious that he was pushing an agenda. I'll be happy to google it up for you, should further clarification be needed. Please do. (quote) "From: "Brian P Burke" (SNIP TO) Neither Dick, Bruce, nor Larry are members of the A-1 Operators Club. So far, so good. But, of note, I am not an A-1 member Ed Hare is not Dave Heil is not (SNIP TO) So there must be something to this. Arnie and Hans, at least when on the radio, must be model citizens. Congratulations to both of them. 73, Brian/N0iMD (end quote) There ya go, "William". Read it and weep. Pretty good stuff, Dave. Nice job. It's just like the Lennie/PuppetBoy duo to actually QUOTE a link that DISPROVES thier very assertion contained within that post. What an idiot. I dunno if he thought I wouldn't or thought I couldn't. Maybe he can come up with confirmation that he caught hell over the issue for weeks. Dave K8MN |

He'll go right on ahead and shoot his mouth off again over some other easily refuteable item and then spend MORE weeks dodging his errors. "Unlicensed services provide a major role in emergency comms", for one. Hope this stuff misses you guys farther north. Power's off in the county west of me, and I can hear emergency crews south of Huntsville working on flooding issues and power outages... Ivan was one tuff SOB, that's for sure! 73 Steve, K4YZ |

From google archices; Gareeb from New Delhi "At least I have a job" (repost) ================================================== = This list contains everyone that has posted 5 or more articles to this newsgroup since January 10, 1994. Power's off in the county west of me, and I can hear emergency crews south of Huntsville working on flooding issues and power outages... Ivan was one tuff SOB, that's for sure! It ain't over yet, we won't get the winds you folks had but with a stiff cold front moving down from Canada meeting the tail end of Ivan it appears that western and central PA are about to get drenched good. Looks like Dave in WV is in the same line and is up for some serious "dampness" too. At least it's not another Floyd . . eleven inches in ten hours in the Philly area. Wheeling got 9.5 inches during Ivan's leftovers. There was much flooding in the lower areas and in area creeks and runs which come the sides of steep hills. Even up here at 1500 feet, the ground was soupy and the gravel driveway turned into a small creek. The really big problems will take place when the Ohio River crests at well above flood stage from way north of Steubenville to well south of Moundsville. Today we have sunshine here and up on the hill, you'd never know there'd been a rain. Dave K8MN |

(laying on the floor and banging my heels....) 1962 IIRC. Anyway, that's a nice list of (mostly) historic RRAP posters. Never saw Riley, Sumner, Haynie, Stafford or Imlay here, though. I've sat down and yakked with them quite a few times, and they're smart not to be here..... Heh, heh, heh. There are hundreds of other A-1 Op members who've never posted here. Pass the A-1, please...... Sorry Phil. At least you took it like a man. Took what like a man, "William"--your mistakes? Of course, Dave. If you and I make a "mistake", we're expected to "retract" what we've said, issue apologies, and otherwise turn tail and hide for our errors... Don't be stupid, Steve. Ooops, too late. I did issue an apology after I finally found out what the problem was. If only David had been up front about what he wanted... Instead, he whined and whimpered for a week. ERROR WILL ROBINSON! ERROR! No error. He whimpered and whined for a week saying that sumptin was wrong. Never said what, couldn't say what, but he knew what. Like Jim saying that true geniuses don't have to tell you that they are geniuses, you just eventually discover it. Dave wanted -so- badly for me to discover that he was an A1-A Op, but it never happened. You tried to drag Dave around byt he nose with that "A-1 Operator" stuff for the longest time. I never once byt David's nose. You continue to do other assinine things without thinking them through. Like attempting to respond to Yell DMC? Is "thier" any point? Your post in another thread about me allegedly knowing other country's radio regs being one of them. You seemed pretty damned sure of yourself. Classic Brain. Sadly Steve. Steve, K4YZ Best of Luck. |
