Send in your dues suckers. If the ARRL ever underwent a honest outside audit, you would find out you have been buying the northeast radio elitists new homes, cars, radios, and computers for years. Send in those annual ARRL dues suckers! Thanks very much. I sent in my dues for life membership nearly thirty years ago. I hope all of those fellows are enjoying their cars, homes, transceivers and computers. I'm working on a deal like that myself. I'm trying to get one million usenet readers to send me one dollar each. Would you like to participate? Dave K8MN |

Actually, if one thinks about it, this isn't a bad idea. $1 can be given up
by anyone, well, nearly anyway. And, there is certainly a potential for something like this to reach 1 million people. If 1 million people send a dollar that's--duh--a million bucks to the addressee. Now, we can't all keep sending a dollar out to everyone, but odds are that, if a lot of people send $1 to say, five people, and on down the line, maybe we'd all get to be millionaires before it was over. So, I'm (for once) with Dave. Send a buck. Kim W5TIT "Dave Heil" wrote in message ... centiman wrote: Send in your dues suckers. uh... Can you say, "Pyramid Scheme"? ![]() Take Care & 73 de Marty KC6UFM My concept has nothing to do with a pyramid scheme, Marty. I just want anyone who reads various newsgroups to send me a buck. I'm not sending anything in return. I'm not proposing anything about five people on a list. If only 100,000 people send me a dollar, fine by me. If a mere twenty people send the single clam, I'm still ahead. Now if the folks at Newington had only come up with this scheme, they wouldn't have to waste all that extra money on the publication of QST, representing U.S. radio amateurs at a WRC, answering telephones and e-mail, transmitting code practice and bulletins via W1AW and maintaining a web site. I wonder if they've used up the entire $275 I sent them for life membership in 1977? I've got my way to wealth figured out. The rest of you will have to come up with your own plan. ;-) You may send a buck to the QRZ.com address. Dave K8MN |

Hardly. There's no offer to any other number of people where I "get a take"
on what they bring in; there's no group of people I'd be "responsible for," etc. Just send the dollar. As to five others, that's a mere suggestion as to what could happen if you, and you, and you , and you, and.... Get the picture? Kim W5TIT "Marty Albert" wrote in message ... uh...
