More silliness from Todd's "Blog"...

QUOTE:

THE FUTURE OF AMATEUR RADIO

Usual grammatical guagmire snipped to...:

When someone comes up with an idea for a new system for amateur radio
they are laugh at other amateur's who poke fun at their idea. So the
real question isn't What's in the future for amateur radio but, do we
really need amateur radio?

Let's look at the purpose of the amateur radio service and see if
amateur radio is really needed.

UNQUOTE

No one laughs at other amateurs who poke fun at your ideas, Todd.

(You really didn't stop and think about that snetence, did you?)

I find it to be a bit egotistical on Todd's part to suggest the
impending doom of Amateur Radio just because persons more level headed
than he have been ripping his point-to-point "data system" apart.

Amateur Radio is not meant to be the "leading edge" of technology.
It provides the resources for individual experimenters to "do their
thing" for personal edification. If they can turn that work into some
viable, useful technology, so-much-the better.

And Todd, your "system" would bog us down with a system three
develpmental generations old. That's "advancement"...???

Amateur Radio in it's present form meets and exceeds the mandates
of the Basis and Purpose of Part 97 and then some.

Todd's sole premise for any "demise" of Amateur Radio is due
solely and exclusively due to his insistance that his poorly
conceptualized and presented "ideas" have been unfairly laid bare by
persons who also happen to be licensed Amateur Radio operators.

Sorry, Todd. They ARE dumb ideas. But keep trying...And get rid
of the iMac that allegedly doesn't allow you to use a spellchecker, OK?
