Although this can be perplexing and upsetting for a career, it doesn’t effect Roger since he has no career. Working out ways to cope with Roger without getting into an argument or a vile confrontation is impossible. Washing and dressing are intimate, private activities. Many people like Roger have never undressed in front of others and may be embarrassed or humiliated by their miniscule manhood. Roger is particularly embarrassed because he is incontinent, and flatly refuses to bathe or change his clothes to try to disguise the problem. It is not unusual for these types to pull down the blinds or to hide behind curtains so as to create a feeling of privacy. (Hiding behind other forms of anonymity is more the norm than the exception.) |
