just now. Both messages were deleted unread.

If you have any issues arising from discussion on Usenet, then
Usenet is the place to bring them up, all open and above board.

I am required by google to have a valid email address but I do
not accept unsolicited posts.

In any case, as the email address is treated as a NULL:, I
don't bother to look in there for days at a time, so you're
better off making your points on Usenet!

I wonder why it is that _ALL_ those associated with
scouting who have responded to me on Usenet in the
last few days are, to a man, rather silly and infantile
and therefore spectacularly unsuited to be associated
with childrens' organisations because their public
behaviours are such a bad example to children?

There would seem to be a nation-wide problem here
that needs to be addressed; a number of individuals
whom the scouting movement should distance
themselves from.

"Pete Jeffreys" below is an example of such an
undesirable associator.....

I think that I am someone who makes a stand for decency and for
civilised adult behaviour in the international public
fora that are the Usenet news groups, and who speaks
out consistently against personal offensive insulting
tirades that have no place outside of the school playground,
and in this context that have no place in the persona of those
who would seek to set themselves up as an example
for vulnerable children to follow.

I have been made aware of who he is. I have done some research and am quite
convinced that my opinion of him can be verified.

Sad that he brings down the world of amateur radio to the lowest common

position in the boy scouts all have public personae that
are innately infantile and desirous of causing insult?

Perhaps it is no wonder the anti-social leanings of the
youth of today when those who would lead them have
the behaviours of children and not the behaviours of adults?
