I think the military gets their officers from schools that actually teach you things like grammar and spelling. I can see how you may have gotten confused, you rode the short bus to your special class at school and used lincoln logs and colored all day giving you plenty of time to daydream about being a colonel. I hope this paragraph was not too long for you. If you have any questions about the larger words over 5 letters long, google them. In point of fact I am KY Colonel for service to the state the poster is ****ed becuase I (after steve threatened to kill me 7 years ago) I allowed this guy and Dave and steve to chase thier tails over calling the funny 5 sided building ( and other places as well) they are still ****ed at being fooled, and indeed there febble little minds tuned those sentences in confustion beyond even my own hopes of confusing them also ****ed that I and and my father who somebody called about the threat came out and lied to them about where I could be found Steve and Dave are confused by the results _________________________________________ Usenet Zone Free Binaries Usenet Server More than 140,000 groups Unlimited download http://www.usenetzone.com to open account |

I took the sample test on QRZ.com twice and passed both times without studying, I'll bet an old turd could study all month, have the answers in front of him and still manage to fail. Yep, and radar endorsement too ... the 1st phone was taken another week that year. I needed it for my job at WROC-TV in Rochester, NY. After going qrt in 1972, I let my tickets lapse. In 1993, I decided to get 'em back. No study. No QRZ.com. No Morse since 1969. Sunuvagun! Amateur extra (20 words per minute) and found out the test was in 5 hours when I called to see who or what was giving the test - right after I decided to get back in. No study, no pain, no sweat. ![]() Didn't bother with the telegraph ticket as I knew the end was coming in a few years. Why pay the price for the exam? Of what use would it be? But I did retrieve what was left of the 1st phone - the GROL (rough equivalent of the 2nd phone years ago). Still haven't been on cw. I tried a Java translator and found I can't do the 40 I used to be able to put on paper with perfect copy. 30 would be about it and pushing real hard unless I got on the air for a week or so. 20, however, sounded slow. This old fart, however, wouldn't have any problems at any time. The only time I had to retest was in 1964 on the general as I had done the stupid thing of learning dots and dashes. It was tough converting to sound, but I managed and passed every exam since. The real exams. 73 from Rochester, NY Jim AA2QA |

oups.com... more bs Well it's a sentence that can be understood, but what are you calling bs? By the way, you have to do something important to become a Kentucky Colonel. What exactly did you do to deserve this honor. Or is this one of those lie's you admit to telling? |
