Just take a pencil, and where it says "50 Mhz" on the front panel, write in "27 Mhz". Everyone knows that all linear amplifiers work equally well on all bands and that suggesting otherwise is just a market ploy to get people to buy more boxes. Don't forget to drive it with your "tweaked" Galaxy, Connex or other "import" radio with the mic gain at 100%, fed with a pre-amplified microphone. And remember to tune for MAX SWR, NOT minimum. And remember to use the international test calling signal: "AWWWWWWWWWWWW-DE-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH..." "AWWWWWWWWWWWW-DE-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH..." Steve, K4YZ |
