Default FS: Airline Moviedial to Kutztown?

I am thinking I MIGHT possibly be able to fit this damaged 13 tube Airline
Moviedial set in my load. This set was sold by my pal Dan Gutowski and was
shipped by UPS... well, you can see what they did to it on the binaries
alt.binaries.pictures.radio Dan said we should just part it out... I was
hoping someone could save it. It was fully recapped and playing like new...
the finish was near perfect. Its all still there except for the knobs Dan
has I believe still.

The knobs would sell for $10 ea (there are 5) the dial bezel $15, the
speaker $25, the chassis for parts at least $30, Thats $120... what to
do???

I think he'd take $80 for it without the knobs. But, you'd have hours of
gluing, plus epoxying the pot metal brackets on the chassis and finding a
new dial scale...

These radios really rock, however.

email me this morning if anyone has serious interest, I MIGHT be able to
bring it to K-town, or to anyone in route to K-town.

What a shame. Is there some rule in the Union contract that allows
package handlers to run every 5th parcel through a cement mixer just for
sh*ts and giggles?
