Um, what 'mouse hole'?
The only hole that I see in the new one is the shaft hole.

Ken, how did you cut and shape the new plates? Saw and file?

I took a good plate out and layed it on top of a plate out of another
old tuner . The flat side & hole were the same so i lined that up and
traced around the arch with a sharpie . This should work also on a new
piece of aluminum stock .
Cutting was done with ordinary heavy scissors then touched up with a
medium file . The shaft hole was redone to fit the tuner . I used an
exacto knife and a file . The hole needed to be 6 sided .

OOps i forgot to put the mouse biteout on the rest of them .

Ken,
Was the catacom all tar/wax potted? I'm not familiar with what
exactly is meant by "catacomb".

Nelson . A friend told me the term ``catacomb`` is defined as
```something hidden or secret``` which is exactly why RCA did this .
The stuff this is potted in is light brown ,smells and acts just like
rosin . I have no idea what it is but it melts real easy .
