Have you checked it with a cap meter? Looks more like a 0.05uf/630V cap.

Nope, it's a 1uf.

101 = 100 pf
102 = .001
103 = .01
104 = .1
105 = 1

105 = 1 x 10e5 = 1,000,000 pf = 1uf

Nope, it's a 1uf.

101 = 100 pf
102 = .001
103 = .01
104 = .1
105 = 1

105 = 1 x 10e5 = 1,000,000 pf = 1uf

Thanks for the codes BrendaAnn; I've been reading them for over 50 years. But I
was just asking if you had actually checked the capacitance on a cap meter. The
1 and the 05 are separated on the capacitor, and the size and shape would seem
to be more appropriate (especially for a 630V Mylar unit) for a 0.05 UF
capacitor. Didn't mean to insult your intelligence.
