WOW. That is beautiful. John you did a good job on that restoration.
I have a ratty B&K Dyna Quick. It is a great workhorse but ratty looking with some loose sockets. I also added a three wire cord to that B&K like you did. I was getting buzzed off of the chassis and did not like it. Paul. Thanks Paul! I fixed a couple things and cleaned up the cabinet too. I also have the same B&K Dyna Quick. FWIW, if I test the same tube on both testers, they both give the exact same readings! Way too long ago for me, but I remember punching those buttons a lot. bg I think the grid, filament plate are all controlled by the rotary switches, iirc. Yes, there are rotary switches that set which socket pins connect to the filament, plate, and various grids. This a a 920 though, not a 910. They are pretty much the same except the 920, in addition to being a tube tester, has the ability to use the meter as a v-o-m! BAMA has the manual for it. You're doing nothing wrong. That is yEnc coding. If you are using some NG readers, such as Outlook Express (as I do), you need a separate program to decode the yEnc stuff. Perhaps the original poster could repost it in .JPG format so that more people could view it. All I did was post a JPG. All that other stuff was added. I do know that ORIGINALLY, BEFORE all this text was added, if I said "read post body" I would see that CODE but if I said "Add to Download list" I saw the PICTURE. Now I don't see any pictures any more probably cause of all the text I'm guessing, and my lack of a fancy program. Thanks again guys...John |
