Kewl. And how about a Thai radio (at least one with Thai dial and control
markings, although made in Australia)?

It has been so long since I got these photos that I don't remember if it was
a military set, or something destined for remote villages to keep them in
touch.

What caught my eye was the company name: Pope Electronics.

Do you think it's a question of division between the Church and the Solid
State?

What was Australian workmanship like?

The photos were sent to me by a collector in Thailand (not my radio).

I have no idea about workmanship, but the outside looks kinda cheap and
rudimentary -- no dial cover, etc.
